ANALYSIS AND BIAS IMPROVEMENT OF HEIGHT MODELS BASED ON SATELLITE IMAGES

Abstract. Height models are a fundamental part of the geo-information required for various applications. The determination height by aerial photogrammetry, LiDAR or space images is time-consuming and expensive. For with large area coverage, UAVs not economic. freely available ASTER GDEM-3, SRTM, AW3D30 TDM90 can meet requirements.With exception ASTER-GDEM-3, which cannot compete other, digital surface analyzed in detail accuracy morphology 4 test sites using reference DTMs. figures root mean square error, standard deviation, NMAD LE90 compared as well dependence on terrain inclination. analysis uses layer open areas, excluding forest settlement areas.
